De zaal is open vanaf 9 uur tot 16 uur. Je kunt de zaal zelfstandig bezoeken. Neem oortjes/koptelefoon mee, zodat je de qr-codes kunt scannen en naar de verhalen kunt luisteren. Let op: op maandagen is de zaal gesloten. Op vrijdag avond 20 september is er een geweldige Zomer Gasten avond gevuld met leuke, interessante en historische fragmenten. Op zaterdag 21 september kun je de gehele dag de zaal bezoeken en zijn wij ook aanwezig om verhalen bij de werken te vertellen.

Welcome to our inspiring lecture on gender, orientation and sexuality, presented by leading professors Judi Mesdag and Looi van Leeuwen, who work at Leiden University. We conclude with a special dialogue with several refugees who are currently staying in Leiden because their home country was no longer safe for them. Their personal stories will give us a unique insight into the complex reality of gender, orientation and sexuality in different cultural contexts.

Welcome to the fourth theme of our exhibition series at Rainbow Society Leiden: "Love in Leiden Relief". The Leids Ontzet is a sparkling party that takes place annually, a celebration that unites people, where we come together to eat, dance and meet each other. It is a time of connection where the city is filled with the smell of stew and where white bread with herring is the traditional delicacy.
This power of love and solidarity is the inspiration for our fourth exhibition. Here we showcase how our amateur artists capture and interpret love through various art forms, including paintings, photography, 3D art and more. Each work tells a unique story and radiates its own emotion, whether it is the joy of falling in love, the sadness of loss, the comfort of friendship, or the search for love.

After a month full of color, diversity and stories, it is time to end this special journey through the rainbow community. Through art, we have shown the universal humanity of our experiences and desires, and we have called for a world centered on love, connection, freedom and acceptance.
With each powerful theme, we opened a new perspective and explored the complexities of our community. And although the theme "Love in Leiden Relief" will also be on display during the closing, we also want to share some highlights from previous exhibitions. Enjoy works of art that provide an overview of all the wonderful moments we shared during this exhibition month.
